Philippians 2:1-5
Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
The Newbridge Youth Group is a place for 7th through 12th graders to fellowship and worship God. Sunday nights at 6pm, the youth spend time in small groups studying God’s Word. The focus of the group is to build relationships in a casual environment where the youth feel more comfortable opening up about scripture. We also mix in time for fellowship and games.
One of the goals of the Newbridge Youth Group is to teach them about the Lord and to help equip them to show their faith in their schools, workplaces, and anywhere else they may be. It is our desire for the youth to have a hunger for God’s Word and know how it applies in their life so that they can “give an account for the hope that is in [them]” (1 Peter 3:15).

Youth Activities
- Special Activities: the youth are involved with throughout the year may include lock-ins at the church, weekend retreats, hikes, and trips to a local corn maze, to name a few.
- Local Missions: Newbridge Baptist Church values local missions and so does the Newbridge Youth Group. The various local missions youth are involved in include the Souper Bowl of Caring, volunteering at Vacation Bible School, volunteer opportunities within the local community, as well as serving our own church family in various ways.
- Summer Mission Trip: Every summer the Newbridge Youth Group goes on a week-long mission trip to share God’s love with people in need. The mission trip enables the youth to get out of their comfort zone while serving others and learn about the importance of missions. The trip also always includes a lot of fun! Through serving others, typically the youth return with full hearts; being blessed and uplifted by the people they came to serve. They grow closer to the Lord and to their fellow youth members on these trips which molds the Newbridge Youth Group into a family.
